Get your cast iron ready! Our current menu is full of meals that only require one pot or one pan and 30 minutes from start to table. Our meal delivery service is built on a commitment to realistic cook times thanks to pre-prepped ingredients. We want to help everyone, even the most amateur home cooks, put a healthy dinner on the table quickly, and clean up fast! We do half the work for you (including all of the bad parts like chopping onions… yuck!) leaving more time for the fun parts of cooking. Since you are probably really busy this time of year, here’s an entire week of one-pot meals to take you from Sunday supper to Saturday morning brunch and everywhere in between.
The first day of the week, or the second day of the weekend (depending on how you look at it), is usually occupied by one of two things: preparing for the upcoming week and relaxing. It might not seem like these two activities could possibly go hand in hand, but they can with our Mexican Chicken Chili. This chili is a great accompaniment to your Sunday show binges and the extra can be refrigerated or frozen for a healthy lunch another day during the week. Talk about killing two birds with one stone!
Meatless Monday has become a popular way to test the waters of the vegetarian lifestyle without a heavy commitment. Eliminating meat at least one day a week can help reduce your carbon footprint and expose you to new ingredients and flavors. Our Cauliflower Fried Rice is not only meat-free, it’s also gluten-free because the “rice” is made of cauliflower. Trust us, you won’t even know the difference.
Taco Tuesday is all about fun. You never know how many people will be around the table, because who doesn’t like tacos? For this very reason, we suggest making your tacos a pasta instead. Our One-Pot Taco Pasta allows you to flex your serving sizes up or down depending on your dinner RSVP numbers. If you end up with leftovers, this meal is a great make-ahead lunch to spice up any workday.
Sometimes you just need to reward yourself for making it halfway through the week. Our Garlic Mushroom Smothered Chicken feels a little indulgent, but isn’t at all. Rarely do you hear a meal with the word ‘smothered’ in the name that is low calorie (under 500 calories!) and that is made using only one pan. This 30-minute meal is one you can feel really good about serving (and eating!).
Thursday Happy Hour isn’t always realistic now that we’re all adults, but our One-Skillet Bison Tacos pair so well with an earthy Amber, you might as well have at least one beer to celebrate the fact that the weekend is almost here and you have almost zero cleanup to do.
Making a homemade dinner for a date is one of the most personal things you can do -- and shows your date that you’re serious. In a serious relationship? Cooking together can be something fun and different on a Friday night. Regardless of your motivation, our One-Pan Roasted Salmon, Sweet Potatoes and Asparagus is the perfect meal. With only one pan to clean up (and let’s be honest, all you have to do is throw away some foil) you will have plenty of time for your other date-night activities.
You made it to Saturday and it’s time for brunch. Our Sweet Potato, Bacon and Kale Hash is easy to make in a single cast iron pan, and you can even add an egg or two if you want a bit more protein. You can pair this dish with your favorite coffee, a mimosa or Bloody Mary. It is Saturday and you earned it!
