Gluten Free Cali'Flour Crusts

If you’ve been hearing a lot about the benefits of a gluten-free diet and wondering if it might be for you, you're not alone. Eating a gluten-free diet may give you relief from symptoms, like bloating, fatigue, digestive issues, skin problems and even headaches. The gluten-free diet rose in popularity though because some people are using it to lose weight. While gluten isn’t the culprit of all health issues there are some health conditions that can be managed or improved by following a gluten-free diet.
1. Celiac disease
Celiac disease is the most well-known condition that requires a gluten-free diet. With celiac disease, the small intestine is unable to digest gluten, making it necessary to remove all gluten from your diet. Fortunately, with the increased popularity of the gluten-free diet, there are many delicious gluten-free alternatives to most popular foods.

2. Autoimmune diseases
People suffering from autoimmune diseases like Lupus may find that following an Autoimmune Protocol Diet helps them to reduce inflammation, identify food intolerances and manage their symptoms. The AIP diet has a very specific list of restricted foods that includes eliminating all grains from the diet. Amy, the founder of Cali’Flour Pizza Crust started her company by creating the grain-free pizza crust she needed to manage her Lupus. We’re now delivering Cali’Flour Pizza Crust as a part of our gluten-free menu.

3. IBS
People suffering from Irritable Bowel Syndrome can benefit from following a gluten-free or Low-FODMAP Diet. Gluten can be the cause of digestive problems, so removing it from your diet temporarily or even permanently can help to reduce or eliminate symptoms of IBS.

4. Inflammation
There are many other conditions that stem from inflammation and if you’re suffering from inflammation, removing gluten could help. Inflammation can manifest as joint pain and stiffness or even as fatigue, low energy or headaches.

As with most diets, results will vary from person to person and you should always consult your doctor before making dietary changes. At Terra’s Kitchen, we make following a gluten-free diet easy with many recipes that are gluten-free. Use the ‘Gluten-Free’ filter to find compliant meals.
