Summer Produce: What's in season?

One of the most exciting things about summer is being able to indulge in the delicious seasonal ingredients that leave you reaching for seconds. We love cooking with the colorful ingredients of the season, which is why our current menu is full of freshly-picked produce like strawberries, kale, and cucumbers.

When you add seasonal summer ingredients to your daily meals, flavor isn’t the only thing you’ll enjoy – they have plenty of nutritional benefits, too. Here's what's in season for summer and some ideas for using summer produce in your own cooking.

1.) Green Beans

The sweet and crunchy texture of green beans make a great and healthy addition to any meal. They are rich in antioxidants such as Vitamin C. They are low in calories and fat, contain no cholesterol, and have a very high fiber content.
