At Terra's Kitchen, we're huge fans of smoothies! Whether it's a quick, nutritious breakfast or a post-workout boost, smoothies are a delicious and easy way boost your energy and metabolism, while also ensuring you're getting the necessary health benefits from fruits and vegetables your body needs.

While the health benefits of a good smoothie are countless, we often hear that it's a struggle to come up with recipes or even how to make a good smoothie. What are the healthy ingredients and how much should you use? What can be added to a green smoothie so it doesn't taste like a liquid salad? Most want to eat healthy, but struggle with smoothie recipes that taste good in combination.

So, to make the smoothie game easier for you, our test kitchen came up with the Terra's Kitchen Top 5 Smoothie Recipes!

General Directions For All Smoothies:

1.Using a cutting board and a chef’s knife cut the necessary fresh fruit and vegetables into manageable pieces your blender can handle or purchase fresh prepped ingredients.
2. Starting with half the liquid first, add your smoothie ingredients.
3. Top off with remaining liquid and a handful of ice.
4. Blend your smoothie until smooth.

Green Smoothie

  • 1 cup Spinach
  • 1 Kiwi
  • 2 Small Broccoli Florets
  • 1/2 Cucumber, Peeled
  • 1 Banana
  • 4 oz Coconut Milk

  • 1 cup Mango
  • 1/2 cup Pineapple
  • 1 Banana
  • 4 oz Unsweetened Almond Milk

Beet & Banana Smoothie

  • 3 Small Prepackaged Steamed Beets (and the liquid they come in)
  • 1 Banana
  • 4 oz Unsweetened Almond Milk
  • 1 Tablespoon of Honey

Terra's Kitchen Avocado Banana Smoothie













Super Food Smoothie

  • 1 cup Spinach
  • 1 Frozen Banana
  • 1/2 of an Avocado
  • 1 Tablespoon Chia Seeds
  • 1 Tablespoon Flax Seeds
  • 1 Tablespoon of Raw Honey
  • 1 Tablespoon of Coconut Oil
  • 1 Tablespoon of Apple Cider Vinegar
  • Sprinkle of Cinnamon


Don’t like using ice and want more space for the good stuff in your smoothie? Freeze your banana's and berries instead!

Smoothies will blend better with the liquid added in first!
